September is one day away the kids have or are about to start school again... So it time to talk about what Linux can do for your school! Why should Linux be used to introduce peoples to the world of computing.
1. Windows is too easy for school! That a bold statement but it true! You put a Windows Pre-loaded computer in front of a kid he/she will never learn how computer work! Linux learning curve is an amazing teaching tool!
2. To use Linux a student will need to learn how to get a Distro, burn it on CD or USB key, Boot the live cd, partition drives. Install the OS, Drivers and Codecs management. It a two hours lesson that will teach a student how to really use hardware!
